NORMAL PEOPLE AND FLEABAG’S HOT PRIEST SIGNED ARTWORK TO BE RAFFLED FOR LANDMARK CHARITY PRIZE DRAW

London:  20 April 2021:  Fans of TV hit dramas, Normal People and Fleabag, will have a chance to win an original print signed by the stars of the shows, Paul Mescal, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Andrew Scott, in a prize draw launching next month for The Landmark Arts Centre.

The Landmark was the venue for a special one-off sketch that was aired on the BBC’s and RTE Comic Relief and became The Landmark’s most closely guarded secret of 2020. The filming saw Normal People’s Marianne and Connell reprise their roles, in confession with Andrew Scott’s hot priest from Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s hit show, Fleabag.

Paul, Daisy and Andrew pledged their support for the Save The Landmark campaign by signing an original artwork by local artist Jennie Ing which will be raffled to raise vital funds for the centre and help reach a target of £26,000 to keep the centre open after its loss of revenue over the last year, due to the pandemic.  The lucky winner will also receive a photo of the ‘dream team’ posing for photos on The Landmark’s famous stage.

Lesley Bossine, Landmark’s Centre Manager, commented “We are so grateful to Paul, Daisy and Andrew for supporting our appeal in this way and excited to be able to offer this special print now to raise much needed funds for The Landmark. Despite being able to partially reopen, we need to earn £13,000 a month to pay our routine overheads. Every entry into this draw will help us reach that target.”

The #normalpeopleprint prize draw is launching on Saturday 22 May and will run until Saturday 19 June when the winner will be randomly selected.  Keep an eye out on The Landmark’s social media over the coming weeks on how to enter plus for more details visit http://www.landmarkartscentre.org
