There is possibly only one word to describe this year’s winter into spring progression – wet! The whole country was ravaged by storms – the Royal Parks were closed for 36 hours during storm Ciara, February 2020 was declared the wettest on record. Thankfully Mother Nature is not deterred – hopefully my photos will show this and serve to lift one’s spirits as we move expectantly into spring.
PS. As the Red Deer Stag are shedding their antlers at this time I thought you might enjoy the rather dramatic scene I managed to capture, taken a few years ago, of a stag losing his antler in a rather spectacular fashion – those photo opportunities do not come along very often!
