Lockdown has been a challenging time for many, but the students at Teddington Dance Studio have managed to keep busy, with over 450 Zoom classes being offered during the lockdown period, so far.
Over the Easter holidays, TDS ran 2 weeks of FREE classes, to keep both the children and adults of the studio active; morning and evening fitness classes, and Adult Tap and Ballet Barre Fit, have been a huge success with the grown- ups alone; and other fun activities have included an in-house choreography competition, an art competition, and lots of social media challenges that both the children and adults have participated in.
The students at TDS have shown an amazing resilience and commitment to their online lessons. Space in the home is limited, even more so when it comes to a dance class, but the girls and boys have danced their Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz classes wherever possible, from in the kitchen to inside the garden shed!
Zoom has been a great experience for many, and being able to see lots of familiar faces, on a daily basis, has kept the TDS community dancing together throughout this uncertain time.
TDS is running over 35 classes a week, online, to keep all members of the family, in Teddington and surrounding areas, happy and healthy.
