Come On, Let’s Help Make This Happen!

Save the date: Sunday 17 July 2022 is earmarked for the High Tide Festival!

First held in 2019, this local music fest has quickly become one of Twickenham’s favourite events.

High Tide is a community-based, not-for-profit festival showcasing the best in young and established bands and musicians. High Tide also features a spoken-word stage and this year, for the first time, there will be an evening of stand-up comedy.

High Tide is free to attend for everyone. With such an array of high-quality entertainment, that’s quite something and a very important feature of the festival for organisers Kevin Jones and Phil Penman from Eel Pie Records.

“When we started Eel Pie Records, we had a very clear ambition to become a community hub, a focus for music locally and a foundation from which to catalyse music-based activities and events. Our shop was the start, but another part of our vision was to create a free music festival for our community. And in 2019, we did it. High Tide Festival was born.” Kevin Jones

High Tide 2022

People have described High Tide as ‘one of the best things to happen in Twickenham for decades’. And now, for its third year, High Tide 2022 will be even bigger and even better with entertainment spread over an unprecedented 15 stages and performance areas.

How You Can Help

High Tide is supported by local businesses and Richmond Council, but you can help ensure High Tide happens too by contributing to the crowdfunding campaign. The whole community working together like this is one of the truly amazing things about High Tide.

Every contribution will go towards paying the High Tide artists properly for their time and talent.

“We’ve set ourselves an ambitious target this year which is matched by the quality of the performers we’re talking to about performing. With everyone’s help, we’ll make this work and High Tide 2022 will be the best yet!”
