Don’t Let Covid Steal Our Christmas

Every December Father Christmas visits the streets of Twickenham on a float with his Elves.

With Yo Ho Ho he gives out sweets and good cheer to the children and a joke with the mums and dads, many of whom can still remember him from their childhood. If he is lucky they will drop some coins in Santa’s faithful helpers’ buckets.

This year is going to be different because of Covid 19 restrictions as Father Christmas may not be able to come round.

However Twickenham folk will still have the chance to donate to the Rotary Club of Twickenham upon Thames Trust Fund whether through;

Elves to 70450 £2-00 plus one text charge

Rudolph to 70460 £5-00 plus one text charge.

Annually with the help of Twickenham residents we have been able to help many local charities;

• Richmond Young Carers,

• Whitton Network,

• HANDS (Help a neighbour in Distress)

• Vineyard Community Centre and Foodbank,

• Abuse Charities

• Twickenham Youth Clubs.

• And many more.

 At this time of year, in these difficult times, we urge you to give generously so that we can continue to support those in need.
